Yasmine Bitar holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts, a Teaching Diploma, and a degree in Behavioral Psychology and Neuroscience, all from the American University of Science and Technology (AUST). Her academic background reflects a strong interdisciplinary foundation, bridging communication, education, and behavioral sciences.
Yasmine is formally trained in behavior therapy and has worked as an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy extender for the past two years. She also brings seven years of experience as a shadow teacher, providing one-on-one academic and behavioral support to children in inclusive classroom settings. For the past two years, she has served as a dedicated Special Educator, designing and implementing intervention plans tailored to each child’s unique learning profile.
She is also experienced in implementing the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), and in developing and applying Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), working closely with families, therapists, and educators.
